Help your teachers improve their instruction and get certified!
In 2009 I attended the Google Teacher Academy in Boulder, Colorado. This was one of the most impactful events of my career.
In 2014 I created the Google Certification Academy to provide educators with a similar opportunity.
The GCA is a comprehensive program that covers the instructional use for all of the core services included with Google Workspace for Education.
Since 2014 more than 2,000 educators have attended the Google Certification Academy and it continues to be one of the most impactful and important programs that I have designed.
“Thanks so much for such a great training! I really enjoyed learning from you. I took the level one test this weekend and passed! Your skills checklist was BEYOND helpful.” Ms. Sara Qureshi, 2nd Grade Teacher, Fairview South School, Skokie, IL
“Thank you so much for a fantastic two days of Google lessons! With your guidance and resources, I was able to pass both the level 1 and level 2 certification exams.” Elizabeth Pratt – Cleveland, Ohio
Build your district’s internal technology capacity with more Google Certified Educators on staff.
The GCA will prepare teachers to pass the Level 1 or Level 2 Google Educator exam. While all teachers can improve their ability to use technology in the classroom, getting certified may not be the right fit for every teacher.
Teachers who earn their Google certification can provide support and inspiration to other staff members, adding an additional layer of support above and beyond your IT department and instructional coaches.
Based on your district’s current use of Google Workspace for education and your district goals we will help you set realistic expectations for this professional development experience.
We guarantee that every teacher will walk out of this training with actionable insights they can use with their students right away.
Send your top teachers to the Google Certification Academy
The GCA is offered as a 7-session virtual event several times throughout the year.
This is NOT an online course. Your teachers will work directly with me to prepare for their L1 and L2 exams.
